Tell me about your American Embassy experience. Was your particular Federal Agency supportive? Did the representatives of your particular Federal Agency watch-out for your individual interests? Were your concerns adequately addressed and resolved to your satisfaction? Tell me your story from a perspective of the good, the bad, and the ugly, and, include a time line. Do not tolerate incompetence or indifference from any Federal Agency representative at any American Embassy -- report it! Believe it or not, the Internal Revenue Service makes an effort, via videos, to provide valuable information to taxpayers. Some of their video efforts are good, some are not so good. Logon toYouTube.com and search "irs videos." Start with the IRS Social Media video. You can even subscribe to the IRS's official YouTube channel.

I have relocated my legal practice back to Texas following more than 20 years of experience in Washington, D.C., Tokyo, London, and Rome. Since 1990, a lot of spectacular positive changes have taken place in San Antonio, as well as, along the Texas I-35 Corridor between San Antonio and Austin. Per my legal business plan, I will open at least one law office in the San Antonio/Austin area to further instigate and facilitate positive change in Texas. My business plan includes an information pipeline between Texas and Washington, D.C. which may be tapped by any Texan; or, any entity in Texas, large or small, domestic or foreign. If you own a business, of any size, and you receive a telephone call and/or a letter from the IRS, you need to know what to do and when to do it. First, take a few moments to educate yourself. Start off by watching the IRS Letter video at YouTube.com. If you received an Audit Notice from the IRS, watch the IRS Audit Guide video at YouTube.com. Follow the instructions in the video and logon to irs.gov. Type the word "audit" in the search box. Read the IRS audit procedure summary. Watch the IRS video series called Your Guide to an IRS Audit. Do not ignore the Taxman. Contact your accountant immediately.

On January 14, 2014, the SCOTUS held in Daimler AG v. Bauman that Daimler AG was not subject to personal jurisdiction in California per a lawsuit originally filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. This case limits the circumstances in which general personal jurisdiction will be applied to large, multinational corporations when plaintiffs attempt to sue non-US corporations for corporate activities that take place entirely outside of the United States. When reviewing this case, pay particular attention to the Supreme Court's analysis of the rules of agency, the "at home" rule, and the need to protect international agreements between the United States and other countries.
